Thats a pretty good deal. I would suggest if anyone is considering this upgrade to take advantage of this. I paid about $16.00 more for the same part.

Sure would be nice if this slays the '06 IPB Dragon. Much easier/cheaper to replace this bearing than the IP and Tranny cases (to get the '07+ dowel-aligned cases).

is this IPB issue just on the 06s.....or is it a problem that I can expect to arise on my 08 at some point?

Have you installed this bearing yet? Just wandering if it does in fact fit the 06's , slip fit on the main shaft and all.
