A friend of mine had one like yours. The paint really stands out. Now he has a black denim Fat Bob so we can't use his bike to find ours in a parking lot anymore.

El J........If he had the Dark Green and Light Green Envy paint which was a limited edition color, he had one of only 61 Low Riders that were mfg. in that color combo world wide. I wrote a letter to Harley asking about it, and that's what they said. Yep, No mistaking our's in a sea of
others. Hubby has a Softail in the limited edition Dragonfly Green with Vivid Black.
As you can see from these photos, I did some chrome add on's over the winter, especially towards the rear end. Say, what state was your buddy from.....just curious

Just helped my brother get an '08 LR. It was an anniversary edition with a bunch of extra's on it and pretty cheap too, guess they are trying to get rid of the older LR stock. It is good to have another Dyna member in the family. Since they are so similar to the SB the parts should be interchangeable. So guessing there shouldn't be too much of an issue if the moco stops making LR specific parts.

His was a Cali bike.
I just found out that the Low Rider I saw at the party the other day was an 04. It had a more narrow rear fender than the ones I recall seeing on newer models. That's what really grabbed me about the bike.
As far as I know, my color combination was only available for purchase in 2007 during the months of April and May. There might have been something similar before that in 2004, so I'm not sure. I do know Harley did have a green bike, but not sure if it had the lighter green pearl. Anyway, you dont see many Green Harley's on the road.......that's for sure.

i have a bran new 2009 lowrider with 300 miles on it. i might be trading it in for a 2009 black fatboy........lowrider sure is nice
why would you get rid of yours just cuz they stop making new ones?????? they will have repalcement parts for YEARS and assuming you still have the thing when they start to get scarce the aftermarket is still going strong and you can get anything you ever wanted or needed for it - and better quality than anythign the moco ever made - basically forever.....if people thought like that there wouldnt still be a million shovelheads still roaming the hiways.....
besides they won't actually discontinue it.....it'll be offered in some special confirguration only for a couple of years then get revived with fanfare and hoopla down the road....its called marketing and HD is pretty good at it......

Sorry for the confusion, but my friend's bike was an 07.
The 04 I saw was gunmetal grey with dark flames. Beautiful bike!
lowrider used to have a special frame - 32 deg in the neck.
now same frame as other dynas - so nothin special about it - black motor and a bit more chrome.
st bob sales killed the wide glide
fat bob sales probably killed the LR
I have a fat bob and a lo rider. Bikes are not much a like, the fat bob is just plain bigger and rides a lot different.

I saw one while on vacation in June 07 at a dealer in Mt. I thought it was by far the best looking Dyna I have ever see. I did'nt know that 3 weeks later my wife would suggest that I just buy a new bike instead of spending so much on my Shovelhead or I would have bought it on the spot. I ended up with an 07 Wide glide shich I love but its no where near as pretty as your green on green.
