You don't need an equalizer for the tail light as there is no connection to blinkers and since you are running normal bulbs for blinkers it should be fine . If it is only doing this on one side and not the other it is likely a defective bulb or lack of a good connection to produce load. If it's doing it on both left and right side blinkers the problem could be the relay or tssm. Check all ground wires while at it.

If you needed a load eq, Kury would have provided one in their kit or told you needed to get one. That is not the problem. The tail light and turn signals are on separate circuits. Since it is not the bulbs, I will bet you have a loose ground connection somewhere and when the you turn on the blinker, the open circuit is triggering the rapid flash. Just like it does when a bulb is burnt out.

Wanted to give an update. This morning I checked all connections and it seemed they were ok. I decided to put the stock bulbs in. First I did the front, took a ride, same issue. Next I did the rear, took a ride, problem gone. I will ride more this weekend but I think the bulb must have some sort of defect. Is this possible? I will know if this is fixed for sure after this weekend.
use equilizer...using leds draws less power...lucky that it didnt blow bulb ....if u put a lower amp bulb in by mistake..after a few uses..it will blow...if u need leds or want them..need to invest in an equilizer..or go back to correct bulb originally used..carknocker714..........keep the rubber on the road...
I have the same problem on a 02 ultra clasic no burnt out bulbs but the left bulb only lights one one filament when flashing did you ever find a solution to your problem?
