Cool Fat Bob tank Emblem

I was not happy with the black & grey tank emblem Harley put on my 08 Fat Bob, so I went hunting for a new one. I found these discontinued eblems on Ebay, tell me what you think.

I've been running with none for a while because the stock ones stunk. I've tried a couple of solutions similar to yours but never liked them in the long run. I'm thinking of trying some from the Nightrain.
o.k. here's what you probably did not want to hear. take a look at the Rocker on the HD website. almost all stock tank emblems slant up a little (flow with the lines of the tank). yours looks a little too parallel to the ground. If you like it then "no problem". it kinda bothered me that it didn't look stock after I did my first set that looked like yours but were all silver. you may be able to dental floss them off and reheat with a hairdryer to reapply if you think you need to.

I like the new emblem but i do agree with the other post on the angle. You need to slant it back a little.

I dont have big issue with the stock emblem but I do wonder how the emblem you used would look on the black denim FB. hmmm.

eh, I don't like them. I think the badges on the '09's look great without the letter opener thing. I'd put those on, or just remove the ones you have and go bare.
