Default Fat Bob - Stock Wheels + Whitewalls???

Hey guys, I postd before on my oldschool project Fat Bob. I had ordered 16's spoke wheels and was running whitewalls aswell. I am still runing whitwalls but the 16's I ordered were held up and the wheel guy asked me if I wanted 18's at a better price.. What do you guys think of 18's front and rear on my Fat Bob they would be chrome 60 spokes with whitewalls probably run a 200mm in the rear and something fat in the front aswell I dont run a front fender so wondering if 18's will look good or not?? Thanks

That is a tough one, but i really think the 16 is the only way to go to preserve the look you are after

I was thinking that , the 16's are the only way to go but even if you look at Sucker Punch , Brass Balls etc they do alot of bobbers and run a 19 or even 21 front with a 16 or 18 rear and they look pretty killler with whitealls.. I would think if I was doin whitewalls then 16's only way to go but since I am doing whitewalls that sets it off oldschool right away and the 18 might just give the Fat Bob that total different custom look?? Ahh not sure with the chopper I built I wnt old school with a mix of new school and I did a 21 front 18 rear and it looked good but that was with 40 degrees of rake, with the Fat Bob I do love the fat front tire but I was thinking I can still run a 140/18 front and keep that fat tire look but have some bigger wheels.. damn not sure what to do????

So you think 18's? I just dont want to take away from the whole fat bob oldschool look.. I dont think the 18's are huge just want to keep that fat bob look but like you said I can have some more options on the whitewalls.. So 18's all chrome with a 200 whitewall rear, and a 140 or 150 whitewall in the front.. Hows that sound

Just a thought......
I would maybe look at doing the 18 up front and leaving the rear at 16 just to give it a cooler stance.
Not sure how it would effect handling though...

18's front & back would cool on a fatbob! I haven't seen it done before so you might be starting a new trend.

i guess i will be the bearer of bad news-

no manufacturers make an 18" whitewall, none make a 200 whitewall in any wheel diameter.

also, you will have only about 3-4 choices on 18" 200 tires blackwalls to choose from
