Okay, HUGE thanks to Lama for getting this whole thing started.
You boys all have some beautiful machines, but only one of you (sorry, but I forgot who) addressed what would be my first question:
Does your dyna feel different with that big fairing on there now?
(and lowers, and bags, and...)
Does it feel heavier, slower or more wind resistant now?
Has it affected handling adversely at all?
I ride a club style TC88 DX and I am in love with it.
What I love most about it (and keep working towards) is how nimble it is.
I'd be very afraid to spend a good chunk-o-change and lose that quality in my bike.
* having nothing to do with lane-splitting. Unfortunately it's not legal around here.

guys help me!!!!
guys , i just ordered the conoly fxrt/p fairing. those of you who have mounted these.
can 39mm forks handle the 75lbs of weight. how was install, and viberations, i work for a HD dealer and the techs have told me this fairing is really difficult to install, alot of fab work was needed to install this on a 2015 low rider. i have an 01 super glide with a narrow front end and 39mm forks.i love this fairing, but anyone know the better of the fairings to get, thoughts, suggestions.

On the Conoley fairing
My FXD/RT setup is a real mutt - I have a Conley's fairing, JD pursuit pods, USA Biker lowers, an old no-name chin spoiler from eBay, and DevFab fairing mounting hardware.
I also have a Kenwood Bluetooth amp tucked inside the fairing with a pair of 5" Polk Audio marine grade speakers.
I love the pocket of clean air that this setup offers and I think it looks alright too, haha! The only changes I plan to make from this point is a windshield with a little recurve for a little more bubble around me and a new headlight cover, as mine is cracked. I also want to replace the DevFab neck adapter with one from JD, because the DevFab one is one of the old cast aluminum ones and it cracked when I tried mount the fairing the first time. I think JD's is a better design and seems more solid than this one.
