Default i found the best thing to clean white walls & i bet you already have it in yr garage

Yeah so many probley already know and i know there are a million 5 threads about this but..........
i just used wd 40 on my white walls and holly crap!!! took less than 15 min to clean both tires and they look almost new! also i just used paper towles so i didn't use anything abrasive on the chrome rims.
wd 40 is something everyone has in there garage so if you didn't know i thought i would share my good news

Let me get this straight...You sprayed your tires with oil and are advocating that others do the same.

yes you got that strait . O and don't forget not to get it on the part of the tire that touches the road (thought that was common sense...) and spray with simple green (a degreaser if ya didn't know) after yr done....but i wouldn't try it if i were you, you might scrub for a long time lookin for the white in the tires on yr sig

WD40 is next on the list for the whitewalls. Just so I am clear, I spray the tread first and spread it out from there, right?

WD 40 is not oil, it is Water Displacement. It works, and evaporates very fast. I've never had a problem with it on whitewalls.

Personally I use Shout Gel, the stuff for cleaning stains on clothing. It works fantastic.
