DUUUUDE! I had a 73 tx500 that I bought back in 92 for $400. It had 3400 miles on it at the time. It was mint. I rode the hell out of it. Was my first bike. I ended up riding it from North Jersey to a bike rally in Danbury CT and blew it up. If I remember the head gasket blew. I stripped it and dumped it in some parking lot somewhere.

I know i have a few crap pics of my XJ750 82' barn find...
rebuilt and painted this sucker... had a drag bar set up so i can put her on the back and then i also swapped out the bars with some clubmans and installed rear sets for cafe riding... FAST bike, air ride could be stiffend up to really lay into some swoooping S curves...
I polished the hell out of this bike, redid the carbs, paint, took off the headlights (square ones) and mounted a CB750 lamp, made my own risers and drags for it removing the two piece bars, fork seals, resealed the tank, polished side covers, cases, rear fender rails, rims.... and basicly anything else i could...
later did clubman bars and rear sets... here are a few pics of that one.. ill get some of it cafe'd out when i boot up the lab top
(remember if found this bike in a barn in wisconsin and paid 350 bucks for it... rust bucket!)
2 up riding: (you can also kinda see my CB750 in the back round (red bike)
with drags (ooh ya paint is rattle can)
With clubmans, rear sets, and late in owning it I airbrushed a racing stripe
Enfield bullet 500 CLUBMAN STYLE! did the ton on this bike!

working on it... most of my college builds are on my lab top... from college... that went though living in a fraternity with me... it has "issues" to say the least!
this was always my fav CB... the first build i had looks almost exact to this but mine was all black, no front fender, no flames... was not at that level...
will always love this bike, made me fall in love with CB's
on this build i only had to cut the seat pan, weld it in lower, used a old HD seat, move the switches to under the seat, turned an old fire ext into my oil bag... that was really it. real simple... did the whole build for 200 bucks, seat was 100 here is my inspiration

Well, I'm actually a pc tech by trade. If you want to pay shipping both ways, I'll see what I can do, free of charge. I only look at what is absolutely necessary. If anything, I can recover whatever important data you want.
