I figured we could get a thread going that pertains to just the season in general, wins, losses, scenarios, etc.
I'm thinking Miami (FL) will be moving up a quite a bit this week. They've knocked off Florida State on the road and destroyed Georgia Tech at home. I can see them making a huge jump if Florida State takes byu to the cleaners.
I'm sure they will at least jump Utah (17) whether they win or lose, I'm expecting Utah to lose at Oregon, plus their starting RB is questionable.
How bad is Urban Meyer going to lay into Tennessee? Will Texas get revenge on Texas Tech? Unfortunately I think the two previously stated games will be blowouts, Florida and Texas roll.

Miami will win the ACC. The only roadblock for them is Va. Tech and after watching them last night I don't see Va. Tech beating them although I don't think Ga. Tech was that good to begin with.
Fla. State will have their hands full with BYU but will win in the end.
Urban is not going to find it that easy to hang 56 points on Tenn. like he did on Troy, the prick. 3rd quarter, over 30 point lead and his starting QB and RB's are still in the game playing a team that can't score against them. Prick. Unsportsmanlike conduct.

I agree, Miami will win the ACC. I think that they have 3 potential potholes on their road to the championship. As tbone52 said, VT; they always play Miami tough and they're at Blacksburg. OU could give them a tough game although less of one now that Bradford looks to be on the sideline for that game. Finally, I think that they may have a tough one with UNC. Too early to tell about that one as the Tarheels can be kinda quirky.
As for FSU, I think that BYU is going to whack 'em. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Cougar fan, but I think that playing at home with the confidence that they're showing will make a huge difference.
Finally, I don't know if the Tennessee scoreboard will go high enough for the points that Florida's going to lay on them. It's going to be an epic beat down. And being a lifelong Horns fan, I hope that Texas knocks the living crap out of TT. That being said, UT hasn't shown a really brutal streak in their two games played so far. I just hope that they've been saving it up for the Red Raiders.

You are correct, Urban does not take his foot off the pedal for anyone. I don't agree with continuing to pound on say the likes of Troy, but if he can pound away on Tennessee or other programs that should be able to compete then so be it.

in my opinion urban hasnt tried to run up the score at all this year...first game the starting offense was out 5 mins into the 2nd quarter...the last game they only played 5 mins into the 3rd
i think its good to see miami back in the competitive realm...hopefully they keep it up...im hoping bradford will be back 100% when they play the canes...im curious how thats gonna turn out
