Panhead Air Cleaner Backing Plate

I believe this is off a 65 panhead. All I have is the backing plate and the surround for the old brass screening material which I threw away it was in such bad shape. Very nice condition.

$10.00 plus shipping.

If you still have the backing plate, I'd like to know if it has the 4 studs on the outside that holds the cover on. I'm looking for a backing plate that will fit my 49 panhead cover. This one looks right.

Willey that is the correct backing plate, the threads are on the linkert body..ruben

The backing plate and cover are both listed in this offer,i found another cover. It's been so long. I'm like Ruben,I think the carb has the studs to attach the backing plate,can't remember what the center screw on the cover attaches to.

Ruben,this cover does not have the little dimple for the j clip cover,the outer perimeter is smooth.

If this item is need for a restoration just pay the shipping and it's yours.
