I really haven't had a chance to ride mine in a warmer climate so I cannot comment on the engine heat. I will say that I rode a parade on Vets Day and did not have any heat issues. Temps were in the 50's, very slight to no breeze, and it was stop and go at a walking pace for about two miles. Didn.t notice any heat at all.
