At 130 total miles on new 07SG the rattle issue started. At 950 miles it sounds like it isnt going to make it much longer.Boy am I ready to meet this rep.I basicly broke this bike in going back and forth to dealer.
I got one more NOT to buy one of these '07 clatter bikes! I am up to 4, I should be getting a commission. Oh, I guess there is no commission on a no sale.
I've already talked 8 people into waiting for the 08 models. One person actually approached me at the dealer while I was bringing my bike in for a 3rd time. There are 2 other people who work with me. One is going to wait for 08 Ultra, he canceled 07 order, the other is buying an 06 SG instead.
I have a funny feeling that some percentage of these posts are from trolls, maybe even just one.
How many people did you talk out of buying a harley today Phil? I talked 8 people out of buying a harley today Pete. I call bullsh*t[sm=badbadbad.gif] Flame away!
I have a funny feeling that some people in these post actually work for the moco. Why else would they be so upset about people complaining about a crappy product. When people come up to me and ask about my new 07 RG I tell them the truth. It arrived with a scratched inner fairing that had to be replaced, the front left hub fell off the bike on my way home from the dealer, there's a knock in the front suspension that's finally being taking care of after 3 visists for the same thing, the strip on the right front fairing keeps coming unglued and there's that clatter sound that no one hears except the owners. Oh yeah, I almost forgot they scratched my bike while working on it.
Well beside these few minor inconviences I think Harley puts out an outstanding product and there quality assurance is second to non. So I suggest those of you who think harley can't do no wrong to snap out of it and come to reality. If they want to mass produce these bikes they better have the propper QA to back it up. Othewise it is what it is.
