Just Curious, How Many Sportster Riders Out There Are Veterans?
Just curious about how many folks here in the "Sportster Forum" are Veterans, and if so how many might be members in one of the various Veteran/Combat Veterans organizations?
I've been associated with, and met a lot of Harley riders over the years, and it seems like a very large percentage of them were military veterans.
I'm sure the number has gone down during the past few years as interest and sales of Harley's has really increased and they have become 'more acceptable' to most, but I'd still be interested in what percentage of riders out there were in the military at one point or another.

USN, Persian Gulf version 1 vet here. I was aboard her when the picture was taken from the USS Independance in '88 going 'round cape horn, although this pic is pretty well circulated on post cards and the internet. 35' swells for 3 days made for a interesting ride.
