I was 27 in 1981.........bought a 1978 1/2 Lowrider...traded it for a 1980 FLH....sold it & bought a 1991 new Fatboy....sold it & bought a 1979 FLH, still have it & added a "01" Ultra to the stable. Rode the hell out of Jap bikes from age 12 until 1981 when I finally went for my "Harley" @ age 12 dreaming.

in 1974 was 17 when I bought a used 1972 XR750 flatrack bike. my first street harley was a FXB sturgis think is was a 1980, bought that used in 82. Still remember how pissed my mom was at my older brother for selling me his sturgis. Raced bikes in one form of racing or another since I was 7yrs old, but getting a bike for the street really scared her..

Default You gotta be old

to remember my first bike. It was called a Whizzer...a true moped. Next one was one of the best bikes I ever had. It was a 1967 or 68 Harley 350 Sprint with a horizontal cylinder. That baby was tough and dependable. I miss it still.

Check out my latest acquisition, thinking about raking it, maybe some fishtails...

I was 55 when I bought my first HD. Rode the big Kaws pretty much growing up and then got out of riding for a number of years. Always wanted a HD and finally a deal came along that I couldnt pass up on an 04 Wide Glide. Watching my son drooling over it got me looking around for another. To make a long story short, I found another deal on a 03 Wide Glide that I really liked so I actually ended up buying two bikes in less than a month and I plan on giving him giving the 04 for XMAS. He still thinks the 03 was bought for moma. I am going to keep the 03 and give him the 04. I cant wait until I hand over the keys to him on Xmas morning.
