Great pictures, looks like a fun time was had by all. Whats the story behind the 1000 steps? Thanks for keeping my spirits up. 80 days to go....
Hello Jake , Glad to here you're ok, the news makes it sound like conditions are getting worse. stay safe.
Here's a link for the 1000 steps http://www.bisbee1000.org/about.htm see you in a couple months
Thanks for the link on the 1000 steps, that sounds like it would be a fun afternoon thing to do. The way the ghost stories where going on I thought that there was a haunted something or other along the way or at the end of the steps.......lol . As far as things around here are going, you are right. As the military footprint gets smaller here things are going to warm up. I anticipate that things will be somewhat crazy at least until the elections at the end of Jan. The rapid US withdraw is causing a little bit of a power vacuum and there are several groups that want to fill it. Several of us are also anticipating as the US shrinks here and enlarges its presence in Afghanistan the insurgent groups (with some outside assistance) will move here and get more active to push politics their direction. Only time will tell I guess.
There are ghost hunts in Bisbee, the Copper Queen hotel is said to be haunted, my step-son lives in an apartment building that is a remodeled hospital, he says the ghost hunters were out there a while ago
