JCleary, I thought I recognize the name, your on the DTR forum? I was a trainer for Cummins Diesel till I got laid off three months ago.
Yessir, one and the same...

I had to break it off with the performance diesels for a while, sort of... Now I'm rollin' an '09 Jetta TDI. The trucks were costing me too much $$.

Faast Ed-

RC Cycles has a 250i. Not sure why there would be inflated numbers, the roller weighs what it weighs. I understand older Dynojets were not as accurate, giving inflated numbers, but this should be accurate.

Tell ya what, you pay for my dyno run and I'll take it anywhere you want me to go in the greater SF Bay Area, and we'll see what the results are...

I'm not paying again until I get my 107 build done.

Faast Ed,
As you know (been said many times on HTT) we have a Dynojet 250i using the latest version of Winpep 7.

As you also know we always use SAE correction so a customer can take his bike to another 250i and verify or compare the results.

You stated:
"the difference is that I have been around "bike" dyno environments."
What experience with "bike" dynos gives you the knowledge to deem what gear used is proper/appropriate?

Maybe you should call Dynojet and explain to them what gear to use because I was taught by them and use the procedures they teach, including what gear to use.
Bob
PS - Didn't you get banned from HTT for this exact behavior/baiting?

There are calibrations involved. When my tuner got his 250i, he had them come back and tweak his 150 to read more accurately. They all can be adjusted, I would think you would know that from what you said about your experience.

Bob, I see you are trying to start some chit again (for the thousandth time).

I am surprised that you make no mention of "what gear" you did your dyno runs in! Shoot, that would have been the first thing I tried to cover up, if I joined this board simply to respond to a complaint.
(We already know that answer, since you read this entire thread without stating which gear in your pathetic response).

Baiting? Baiting who? You weren't even a member here when I made my posts!!! YOU are the baiter guy.
Did you join here simply to start trouble (again)?????

What gear did you run his bike at Bob? (Please, be honest, I have seen you lie bigtime before). Here is your chance to "splain" why you use higher gears to inflate your numbers. Tell us like you did on HTT. (Good for business, I know). Helps justify the overly high rates you charge.

Show the board who you are Bob. Hit us with your whit. Your excuses and such.

PS - Weren't you banned from HTT a few times? (We all saw you were). Suck butt to get reinstated did you???? Bwahahahaha! (Me no suck butt).
Me calls them out, when I spots them. You is "them".

Line those two 96" bikes up next to mine at the light....I'll save you both a stool at the bar. (Sorry, that dog don't hunt.) I would LOVE to see what my motor would baseline at on THAT DYNO with BOB at the helm. I bet I wouldn't be able to hold on if my bike had 15% higher numbers........

Congrats, on the great numbers. Like many of the members here said, " It's all in the tune ' You can have the biggest motor, and most expensive parts on paper, but it does'nt mean s*&t, when it isn't tuned properly by a competent tuner. Enjoy the new ride.

Thanks joe98!

Looks like there's another competent tuner out there who can make a 96" run with Woods cams...
