Yeah Blackyck, your bike is looking great. I might have to do something with my headlight too, once I get this US rear pulley put on my bike so I can finally do my lowering kit/Road Kind air shock install. Can't wait to do that to check out the ride quality of some air shocks. I also ended up putting the engine mount/horn bracket on my bike for the coil relocate. I couldn't use my USkoolines plug cables, so decided to spend the 30 bucks and use the harley parts to lower the coil a bit. And thanks for the info on that pulley cover. I might just drill the ishh out of mine to make it hollow. Who knows where we'Ll all end up with these bikes, as long as it's got a touch of originality. Trying to save money for this tattoo that I need to finish as well. Started 10 years ago, so about time.
Alright, best to you man and safe riding.

Dear Ironheads--

So I finally pulled the trigger and brought home my Iron today. I am soooooo happy. Thanks to everyone who wrote in and assured me that it'd be a good starter bike. I was nervous for my first ride, especially since I was taking it from Queens to Manhattan in rush hour traffic, but the bike was fine. It was those ******* NYC drivers who were the problem. Will be riding it stock for a while, so no pics at the moment. But I can't wait to take it out on the road tomorrow!

Have fun, and ride safe, everyone!

Archie

Joebotics i really dig the look of your bike. I love that bobber style, I was wondering what seat that is from licks and how much modification was necessary to put it on thanks man. Also how long did it take to relocate the ingnition coil and wires. Thanks man

no just slice down plastic tube, pull open & clip straight over,or you could put in bowl of hot water to make the plastic more flexible, its real easy cheap mod, cheers

the plumbing pipe looks good! Alternatively, you could get some black automotive stick on vinyl. Cut to size and stick on. Job done!

Alright man, gotta run but have a good one.
And of course, your bike is SICK!!!!! PS how's you hook up the hamcanless a/c?
I got the SE Stage on mine, but am thinking about doing my instert white and then ditching the big white A/C cover that I painted. Lemme know bro and have a good one.
Safe riding,

Hey Bro!.. wow!.. Tampa area!.. man... I wanna go there.. I want to dive on the sunken Mighty O !!!... my hamcanless A/C is a HuricaneFlow from NRHS Performance... great quality and great looking A/C... installation is a breeze... you will need a breather kit.. sold by them also... is a 30 min/4 beers install.... here are some close-up pics of the A/C:

I like the idea of painting the insert white and then ditching the cover... give it a try and post pics !!!

Default Tire Pressure

I just bought a 2010 Iron. I've had it a week now. Yesterday I went to check the tire pressure. The front tire said 40 psi. I thought that seemed high so I checked the manual, and if I'm reading it right I believe it says 30 psi front and 40 psi for the back. Is that correct?
