you can just smell the stupid on that one... i... uh... want to park... uh.... turn... am i missing it... uh... what was that...
if you want to see the level of intelligence on our roads today, get a lawn chair (don't sit close to the road) and just observe a 4 way stop for an afternoon.
I'm not excusing the auto driver by any means but it looked like the motorcyclist was flying right along. That looks like a relatively narrow street with lots of parking on each side. You'd better bet that situations like that are going to pop up in that environment and you'd better be ready for it. Doesn't really matter who's in the right or wrong here. The car driver gets to go home, the motorcyclist doesn't!

I did that during coffee and a roll at a 4 way stop that includes a rail crossing. 70% did not stop but rolled through, even one when the crossing guards were coming down. I expect the cagers to do everything stupid, haven't been disappointed yet, especially the socker mom's in suv's with a cell phone permanently attached to their ears.
It is a shame but I gotta say that the time the car was blocking the road and the time lapse before the hit, The bike could have been on the brakes and possibly avoided the situation. Did look like he was going kinds fast. Hope he is ok. As for the woman in the car, she probably had to finish her text message before getting out.
