Good luck on the new chrome hip.. just remember to have em put the grease zert in a easy access location. Don't want to be like the tin man and get all rusted up and not be able to move.....Well you could move but it you'd just be making circles. hahahahaha.
Good luck with the store bought hip....I have made the trip to the operating room 9 times and have learned one thing...pills always go better with booze!
....I have made the trip to the operating room 9 times ...
I don't know why, but lately I've been hearing stuff like this all over. Mostly, people say "Oh, Willard had his hip done 3 times and it's just been WON-derful."
One of the guys in my Scary Medical Stories class told me "Nothin' to it...I've had four of 'em."
Now, I know I've always told kids that there ain't no math in life, but this kind of cipherin' don't do nuthin' to make me feel no better. And all you glad-handin' "get well soon" bastards...don't think fer a minute that yer foolin' th' Roo. I KNOWS what yer after and I done told Miz Roo to put on that lockin' belt device so's I doesn't hasta get VI-O-LENT when I return and discover that some strange dude (or two) has been rubbin' uglies with my one and only.
I also writ down Stray Dog's mileage so's I kin tell if Miz Roo been ridin', too!
So are you saying that sex will make you POP and it won't be a good pop?! lol
Mrs. Roo better watch out come February 16th!
Hope you get to feelin' better soon (well whenever you have the surgery... sorry, my brain is fried from waking up at 5am to go to the gym... hope I can keep it up lmao)!
Good you are getting it done now and not later after the government option is the only choice, if ya need anything else done knock it out now. Glad your doing okay, a little girlish but okay.

Thanks for thinkin' of me, Tara. I'll remember sex fondly, I'm sure.
Masterblaster, you INSULT me, suh! I'd suggest that we adjourn to an open field with seconds in attendance, except that I have just now soiled myself. It's than damned cowardice, again!
Ya might get lucky and get ya one of those titanimumm hips or another of them fancy lotsa letter metals put in.. JUST remember.. to use recommended grease in it.. dont need no 500 page threads on what kinda grease do i put in my aftermarket hip socket?
OK Roo, here's my story and I'm sticking to it. Never had that stuff done on me but a good friend of mine, somewhat older than me by a decade or so had a bad hip that needed fixin. He was on pain meds for quite some time before he decided it was time for the major overhaul. He stopped taking the pain meds about three weeks before the surgery so he could honestly tell what the difference was going to be. About three months after the procedure I was able to spend a few days with him. On a side note I actually brought him home from the hospital because of the van I had at the time, read handicap equiped, but I don't think he remembers that trip. Anyways, I asked him about the operation and how he now felt. He looked at me somberly, raised his hand above his head and said before the event this was the amount of pain he was in. Now? He put his hand about two inches from the floor and said this is today. Hope you have as much success.
