Cam and Carb reccomandations for R&R Stage 4 heads on 95 inch FLHT
Well i decided against stroking my 02 FLHT. I really wanna do fenders, stretched bags, wheels and paint as well this winter so I figured Id stick with a 95 build for now. The other day I found a brand new set of R&R stage 4 raised ported heads in the New Hampshire craigslist mc section. Well last night I worked over time midnight shift to help raise some funds and drove 2.5 hours to New Hampshire from CT. this morning when i got home from work and just now got back. The seller used to work for a harley davidson dealer ship and had a bunch of parts. I ended up getting the stage 4 heads completely assembled and with compression releases and a set of S&S high lift lifters all brand new for 750.00. My other buddy sold me a set of screamin adjustable eagle push rods screamin eagle roller rockers, 95 inch Ross domed pistons (i believe 10.5 to 1 comp) and cylinders that were used 1 summer and are mint for $150. He also gave me a set of Andrews tw60 cams. As the list goes on my other buddy is willing to donate to my cause as well he has a fueling cam plate and a set of zippers red shift 577TC cams. I am not sure which cam is better for my build or if I should be using neither. As for my riding style, to me every red light is a starting line but at the same point I do ride well up into the higher rpm range as well and really enjoy highway blasts as much as I do light to light. I ride solo most of the time and occasionally take the girlfriend out on the weekend. Id like to go with a Mikuni carb and was unsure of either a 42mm or a 45mm. I also picked up a screamin eagle race ignition new off of ebay last week with the coil for preparation with my build. Any advice is really appreciated
My advice is to re-work the heads, get the compression up to 10.75, and use a Wood 8 cam with a 42 Mikuni/S&S intake manifold.

Do you know what S&S manifold I would need and should I have it ported? My buddy bought a G evo setup sor his TC and his wrench tapped the manifold out for a sensor and it worked fine. Also do I need any special adapter to mount the Mikuni to the S&S manifold? Thanks for the advice.
