Too hard to remember dates,.....
Late 70's had a 350 jap something
Later 70's had a 1974 Sporty, eventually rubuilt on custom frame, won shows
Ever since it's been Softies.
A Springer softy,
a few Fatboys
and a few Heritages.
At least 6 or 7 Softies (maybe more) with no plans on changing.
You guys that went : jap, jap, jap, jap, to HD Bagger missed out! <wink, wink>

2003 Road King Standard (100 Anniversary Edition) 88 cu. in. Dynos at 80 hp. after performance upgrade. [46,000 miles]
2006 Yamaha Stratoliner 113 cu in. It's like a stock '03 Road King on steroids. [18,000 miles]
2009 Dyna Street Bob 96 cu. in. Slowest and coolest bike of the bunch. [3,600 miles]
I ride all 3 bikes (but not at the same time).
My '09 Street Bob is the most fun.

FaastEd got it right 5 posts back, jap-to-bagger skips alot of the H-D classics.
Here is my 'history to Harley fever' :
1983-89: 83 Suzuki GS750ES - Suzuki's first attempt at a modern sportbike. pretty fast but heavy. looked great, gave out a lot of rides to college girls, one became my wife!
1989-1993: 86 Suzuki GSX-R750 - Bought it from my brother, owner of the one that started it all. Scary fast, hammered out a 145 with that same wife on the back. She loved this bike and I thought it would never go. Then I moved to w/in 50 miles of Sturgis, SD. Harley-fever was contracted immediately.
1993-1998: 1994 FLSTN Heritage Softail Special - my second love. Waited 7 months for her and got the first one sold to the public (Aug 93). Like riding in a one bike parade. Rode all over the Black Hills of SD until I had to move to Texas. Sold it for 3grand more than I paid. (Those days are over).
1995-1998: 1990 Fatboy. The original 'grey ghost' and most excellent bike I've ever owned. Found it in a barn in SD under an inch of dust. Perfect in every way. Been photographed more by enthusiasts than all my other bikes combined. Sold to my brother who still has it - it will never leave the family!
1999-2006: don't ask, I don't want to talk about it.
2006-2008: 1996 Bad Boy. Loved the look when it came out in 95, but I already had one. Great bike to get back on the horse with. Looked mean rolling along and that Springer front end oozes cool. Had a long list of custom bits I wanted, but then...
2008-now: 2008 Cross Bones: Had the Bad Boy when Harley announced this one. It was everything I was going to do to my current bike and more! Thank God that same college girl understood. We've even run the 'Dragon' together on this one. Love them both!

I had a Vespa that you had to pedal to get going. I dont know the year? Had it before I was old enough to drive.
First bike was a 03 Deuce. Great bike. I wish HD would bring that back.
