Default Riding to now!

1st bike in 1980 was a 1977 Yamaha 650 twin, great learning bike for riding and maintaining.
2nd was in '81, a 1980 Yamaha 650 Maxim 1, shaft drive - didn't like the shaft torque!
3rd was another 650 Twin '81 in '83.
4th was my first Harley '89 FXR in '90. Bought it from an American Forces guy while posted over in Lahr Germany. really great bike and fast!
5th was a '90 Heritage Softail that i picked up in '91, gave the FXR to the wife to ride. Wow what a comfort difference! Came back to Canada in '93 (sold both overseas so I could buy a house)
6th was a basket case that I picked up off of my brother. Pan cases, shovel head hardtail. worked on it for a couple of years then wanted my spin to line up again so I sold it!
7th was a cheapy pick up- a '78 Yamaha 750 triple in '98 $200.00 to buy and $500.00 to put on the road. Another fast bike, this one was heavy enough to handle the shaft drive!
8th was a '85 Softail, Evo engine, 4 speed kick. Did a ton of changes lots of fun!
9th is my ride now a 2008 Ultra Classic Electra Glide! Yes I like riding the couch! It is the long haul bke. Went out west this past summer, 9,500 kms round trip. Wouldn't have been able to do it without the radio!

1998 - Suzuki 1500 Intruder(I wanted a crotch rocket but parents told me no. Had to listen since I was 17 and I had never riden a motorcycle before in my life.)
1997 - Suzuki GSXR 600(I bought a crotch rocket anyway after saving the money and threatening to move out at 17.)
1999 - Suzuki TL1000(I needed more power to almost kill myself on.)
Life happened and sold all bikes, drag cars, and other toys. Six years later try the crotch rocket thing again.
2005 - Kawasaki 636RR(I sold it about 2 months after buying it. I am too stupid to own a crotch rocket)
Went bikeless until just 2007 and I was finally able to afford my dream bikes.
2007 - Kotic Kustom Chopper
2007 - Street Glide (With mild customizing and way more to come after my cross country trip.)
