Default 5K service due, What to do? Fatboy

I need your advice on here guys. My 5K service is coming up and I'm trying to figure out what to do? My local HD says i't would be around $375.oo for the service. My side is a 2007 Fatboy and is still under waranty, So with the front end wobble that I'm having ( Which the service guy said they would check anyway , it's part of the service) Not sure of the waranty would cover it or if that would fall under there (normal wear and tear policy). I own a service manual, but I have never worked on a motorcyle before. So do I take it to harley and fork over the $$$ or do I do it myself?

Open your manual and learn your bike. Do as much work as you feel comfortable. Don't trust a mechanic to care for your bike as much as you do.

Take the bike in for the wobble and do the 5k yourself.

Definitely let them handle the "wobble" situation. If you have the tools and preferably a lift, you can do the service (although, if you look at the check list there is quite a lot involved other than fluids)

Check list is long but it is mostly just that, a check list. If you can use a wrench and a screwdriver you can do the service yourself and know that you did everything. Once you've done the work you'll realize how simple it really is. If you get stuck or need advice just ask and we'll help out. Where are you located?

I paid $302 to local dealer for 5K checkup. Got home and had to wash the bike due to the greasy fingerprints on the tank and hard bags. When I put the wash mitt on the slip on pipe to clean it moved three inches to the rear, yeah clamp loose.
Not sure but I'm hoping they changed the fluids.

I was told the 5k had to be done by a dealership for warranty purposes so I took mine in.. The wobble is an issue that definitely needs attention asap.. As a matter of fact I'm gonna change the oil this weekend...
