If you did nothing more than boring your bike from 883cc to 1200cc the performance increase will amount to nothing more than increasing the displacement.
To gain real performance you at least need to run the stock highers flowing cams and modified Buell heads from the 2004+ 1200's.
Far as the Screamin' Eagle cams, I added SE "E" cams to my 2005 1200C and picked up an additional 7 or so horsepower to the rear wheel.
But like others mentioned, won't do much good to install higher flowing cams if you are limited by the stock 883 heads...
Here is a little information HD released dealing with the 2004+ 1200 engines;
"The XL Evolution 1200 engine has high-flow cylinder heads with an oil drain-back feature. The XL Evolution 1200 engine is also fitted with high-performance cams for enhanced torque output. Compression ratio is 9.7:1.
The XL Evolution 883 engine is rated at 53 peak horsepower at 6000 rpm and 51 ft. lbs. of torque at 4300 rpm. The XL Evolution 1200 engine is rated at 70 peak horsepower at 6000 rpm and 79 ft. lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm, an increase of more than 15 percent over the previous XL Evolution 1200 engine".
Cams alone no. If you really want to notice a difference put Buell heads on and call Andrews for their recomendation on cams. My previous neighbor did the NRHS 883-1200 with the Buell heads and Andrews cams and that thing would scream. Left my 06 1200 with with modified K&N A/C short shots and dyno tuned carb in the dust. And he had a good 50lbs of weight on me.
So my 07 1200C should have the high flow heads, are these cams any better than what I have? Can I pick up any more by doing port work on the heads, or are they pretty good stock. I'd like more power, but trying to keep to a budget.

Check this site out. Call them and ask for Dan, he can hook you up with stage 1, 2 or 3 heads. He will also let you know which is the best cam for your type of ridding.
For the 100th time, NO, unless you have head work and you ride on the red line all the time, Harley's cams just steal 5 HP from the bottom end and add it to the top end.
My bike only has head work, 10.75 compression, good ignition system, and slipons and puts 85HP to the ground using stock cams, that's almost a 100HP the way Harley measures them.
And your cams are better than mine because your bike is newer!!!
Just like "flatlander" said, call Andrews and tell them what you have and they will tell you whats best, ie: adding lower torque and higher top end or more lower end and less top end..
I just called them about 3 days ago and told them i wanted an even all around cam and they told me to go with the race only cams. there in the mail now, Ill let you know how they feel.
