auto accident being used against my bike insurance
Motorcycle Insurance DiscussionThis is the place to discuss what type of Motorcycle Insurance you carry or any problems or good experiences you've had with certain companies.
WTF?? I got into a fender-bender in May with my Jeep (since sold) and I was shopping around for insurance for both my bikes (09 Street Bob and 08 Busa). GEICO has me at 981 per year...everyone else wants in excess of $1300. I just don't get it. I live in FL so this is the insurance rip off capital of the free world. It just sucks to pay that much.
$981 for 2 bikes does not sound bad to me at all. What limits are on the policy? What deductibles? Under $1000 for 2 bikes with adequate limits and an accident on your record is not a bad rate.
So, I was wondering: If you get a ticket while operating a boat, will that going on your drivers license? Seems it wouldn't, but then again it is driving...of a sort. thanks.
my insurance try that so i read them an Ohio statue and not only did they take it off. But they payed me back the difference for last year thats illegal and they can get in big trouble for it.

That is actually pretty damn cheap figuring the Busa! Crotch Rockets are outrageous to insure. How does it break down? Bet the Harley is only around 25-30% of the cost and the Busa is the rest!

That isn't necessarily true. With a clean record my rocket was less expensive to insure than my 102CI Roadstar as State farms rates are based on displacement as well as your driving record.
