Does anyone have any pics of a superglide with handlebar mounted speedometer with a radio mounted. I have a set of speakers and bought a radio mount that bolts on top of the brake fluid resovoir. I am not sure I like it mounted there.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Yeah, I'm also curious to see how speakers can be mounted on the sides of the bar mounted speedo. I also have the HD 1/4 fairing which seems to be limiting my speaker options too. I was hoping to be able to use one of Joe's "Fork Bag Stereos," but the space behind my fairing wasn't large enough for one of his units that are 12" wide. I have about 9" behind my fairing for a smaller bag. I don't know what type of sound you get out of the 2" bullet speakers that are on the market or whether the "better" larger speakers will look stupid with my set up. I also question the claimed watt power of these small amps. I don't know what to do. Damn it...I want music!!!

I plan to mount mine with the bracket they give you and mount it on the left grip area so my throttle hand is free i may have to mod the bracket a bit but not sure as i haven't seen what comes with it yet. That way i can use my left thumb to mess with the ipod.
That is interesting. My handlebars are getting kinda cluttered already though, and I'd like to use my iPhone to supply the tunes, and I'm a bit nervous to have it mounted out there on the bars. Do you guys wear full-face helmets? If so, maybe consider in-helmet speakers. That's what I'm looking at right now, something like this:
I'm not exactly sure how they install though, I'll have to take a closer look at my helmet. I ordered a watch that has iPod controls built in, so that will take care of changing tracks and volume.
this is what i use for my tunes it also fits in a full face.. it streams music "WIRELESS" through bluetooth with my iphone. it will also work with ipod. they are Oakley O'roker pros series. you can customize them any color combo. go to Oakley.com
