Neat idea but what keeps the door closed and prevents rattling?

The weight of the door keeps it closed and their is no rattling, despite, due to my larger engine and and reduced idle speed, the bike really shakes when idling. If I recall, the lid closes on some rubber bumpers. This and my two hooks installed under my tour pak to hang helmets are my favorite two mods on our bike, very useful and free.

Thanks, I will look into that idea.

Local harley broker friend needed a stock gas door lock for a bike with a broken one So I got the unlocking harley push button for $28. I gave him my stock lock He gave me $14. I love not having to hassle with keys at fill ups

Never had a problem with it. And why does the fuel door open towards the rider? The Moco doesn't want you to fill it while sitting on the bike, safety reason.
I must be messed up. I have to unlock my fuel door and I sit on the bike while filling it

I have the locking HD push button type on mine, You can lock it or leave it open, usually lock it at motel's and and stuff but leave it open during the day while riding. the button is kind of small and You have to take gloves off to open, but other than that it works great.

LMAO They expect you to get off the bike to see in the tank while filling. Sure would be easier in that damn door opened the other direction.

I must be the only one... I had the locking push button and I hated it, it works half a$$ not happy at all. My brother has the push button non locking type so I bought that and tried it last night... I cant get it to close, wont stay latched, and there is no adjustment... Cant believe it. Actually made in USA... ;0)
