plus an air compressor blows to hard if you get to close.
I use my shop-vac to blow mine off. And yes it gets cleaned out after each use so I'm not blowing anything back out at my bike.
Check out the Master Blaster. Yes it's a $160.00 gadget that just blows air but it blows "filtered warm air at a very high velocity" getting water out of places where water just shouldnt sit. A leaf blower just cant do that.
Youll see not only the water disappear, but because it's warm air you'll see it disappear and dry the bike right before your eyes. It's also built very well with a 4 HP motor, many different attachments and a (wanna say) 20 foot hose.
Leaf Blower here...air compressor has more of a pin point blast where as a leaf blower covers a wider area, plus you can use it to clean the garage floor, clean your eve troughs, blow snow off your car etc etc etc
Use a leaf blower, using a compressor builds up condensation, and blows on your bike. You will also find in compressed air, there is oil and fine metal particles in the air. I certainly do not want little metal fillings bouncing off my paint.
i would never use compressed air. i use a back pack leaf blower. works great
