Thanks this is great info,I have used full sheepskin often, and will keep Mustang in mind.
I had the full Kuryaken (sp?) sheepskin seat installed before I rode my TG...very comfortable.....wouldn't invest in a different seat until you try the sheepskin.
Are the Tri-Glide seats better than the OEM seat on an 07Ultra?Does any one know what years seats would fit on 2010 models?Does Mustang or Corbin make a version?
thanks in advance
08 and up fit the TG. The seat changed when they went to a 6 gallon gas tank with the 08 MY. My wife and I took a trip to TN back in late August early Sept on my 2010 TG. The 1st day was 586 miles with no complaints from mine or my wifes back sides riding the stock seat with no sheep skin or covers of any kind.
Mac complained about his seat early on - not like what was on our Softail... He finally got one of those 'cushions' that attach to a strap around the seat... Helped somewhat...

Barb,
I can't find any info on this seat. Do you mean you had your stock seat replaced with another or is this a cover? Am looking for hubby for Christmas gift for his '06 Ultra. Also, thinking about one for me. Have the airhawk, but it still gives me numb butt after awhile.
Had a heated Russell seat on my '07, wish it would have fit the Tri. So far the stock seat with a sheepskin hasn't been too bad. Might leave it stock except for having a heater installed.
I am using the MOCO sheepskin that I originally had on my 06 Ultra, and it fits the Tri-Glide seat fine. The Velcro strap is really tight, but works OK. I also have the passenger backrest sheepskin cover which also fits. (I think the tourpack is the same as the 06) It is really a snug fit,and kinda hard to get on and off. If it gets wet, it takes a long time to dry out, unless you can get it into direct sunlight for a few hours.
I live in Texas, and when it is 90 degrees or higher the Sheepskin cover really helps, plus you can leave it in the sun and not burn your backside when you get on.
I've had one of those lamb's wool pads from Alaska Leather for several years. Works great on the RG-----warm in winter, cool in summer. Helps keep "monkey butt" to a minimum on hot, humid days.
