That scares me just reading about it, let alone riding with one!

Street Star. What do you think of the sinister products? I just got that windshield but it doens't fit too well yet.

Half the posts say that 21in handles the same or better. The other half just the opposite. What should I believe?

Here are my honest thoughts. The 21" wheel makes the bike feel like its on rails. It corners very nice and to be quite honest you do not feel a huge difference in the softness of the ride. The only time I noticed a difference is when the bike is loaded down with a lot of weight and it seemed (on my road glide) to be a little front-end light. In other words, it gets a little wiggly at highway speeds (maybe its the design of my wheel...who knows?) but it is nothing you don't get used to real quick. If you had never ridden the bike with stock wheels, you may not think anything of it. I personally think there are more positives to the larger diameter wheels (looks wise and performance wise) than negatives and wouldn't hesitate putting these wheels on any bike that I owned.

i didnt really have any problems with my windshield.....i just painted it and installed it! as far as the 21/23 question....i had a 21 before....and does it handle different?...... of course it does....its definetly a heavier wheel...but as far a riding and turning while moving i didnt really notice any big differences...Now i do have a R/K im currently building that has a 26 going on the front of it...so thats gonna be a huge difference in size....but with the proper front end work no matter what size wheel you run the bike should always perform well.
