Way back in '01, Dyna's came with a 130mm wide rear tire, except the FXDX had a 150mm...my bike now has a 160/60ZR18...car tires have similar designations. 160mm wide, 60% aspect ratio (height/width; ie 40% is very low profile) speed rated Z, Radial, on an 18" rim
Stage 1 on a Harley is opening up the intake and exhaust and enrichening the fuel mixture; both are severly restricted (ie lean and quiet) for EPA emission purposes when the bike is new. Many consider the Thunder Header to be a superior exhaust for a Harley ie more power (and more sound)
EFI = electronic fuel injection; Hot Bike is a magazine and IPB is inner primary bearing. I sent a submission to Hot Bike and the ran the pic in Readers Rides, but fabricated most of the text...
Not to mention, all of which could be learned relatively quickly with a little initiative or a few searches..
This is true, however in past google searches on bikes, I've come to realize alot of the terms used are VERY similar if not the same to terms of things that are of absolutely no similar context.
I.E. bull horn handle bars, shows me lots of pics of bicycle handle bars...
Thus at this point, I'm a little confused on some of the context, I thought it might be helpful to get the low-down from more people with more experience in the area.
The FXDXT has a black engine, but chrome exhaust, although that is easy to change, either way.
Another question, I've been trying to figure this out for the last few days, to no avail, what is the difference between the Dyna Super Glide Sport (FXDX) and the Dyna Super Glide Sport (FXDXI) ?
T-sport!! it's the only way to go. I have owned a fatboy (softail), streetglide, FXD, and then I bought my FXDXT, by FAR the best bike I have ever ridden!!!
