I have an 07 Ultra, SERT, SE A/C and SE II Slip ons. I was told by a couple of tuners that the way the cross overs and O2 sensors work that I need to change the entire exhaust system to get any real performance gains by changing out the cams.
Is this correct? I'd be willing to get a new set of slip ons, but can't afford the entire exhaust system. I don't mind the SEs from a loudness standpoint, but would like a little more of a rumble than they produce. Do you have any slip ons that would work for my bike, provide a good sound with better quality than the SE IIs AND allow me to get some good performance with a tune and new cams?
doing big build, 95" on my 06 looking to get 117- 120 hspr, what do u recmind for exhaust and fuel pack! please send pm, w/package price shipped to 48091
A couple of questions,
1. Is this the pro chrome that would fit a 2010 FLHX (17559 - Fits 2010 Touring. ($599.00)) If so could you PM me a price and maybe and idea of when in January the pipe will release? I e-mailed VH the other day and all they would say is January. If we can get a firmer time frame, interested in getting one on order to "get in line".
2. Quiet insert, how much is it and would you order it seperately or?
i have a 2010 flhx black denim and deciding on the d&d fatcat of the v&h propipe. I noticed the propipe only comes in chrome but the propipe high output comes in black. i am sure i want a black exhaust will the high output propipe be alright on a stock motor. from what i read it is designed for modified motors and didnt know if it would work on stock motors.
