Thanks for the replies. I took your advice and watched some videos on Youtube. It's pretty hard to tell because of the different audio qualities of the videos but I think the VH and the Rinehart pipes both sound good. Just a little concerned about volume being too low.

I added BCT baffles to my VH BR pipes i have now and it did add some volume. Maybe my best bet would be to go with the Rinehart Slip-ons and if they're too quiet, add the BCT baffles. I thought i read that the Rinehart stock baffles were difficult to remove. I'll have to do some searches.

Thanks! (and keep the good info coming - still deciding)

I had the RH SO's on my 09,,,,,definitely too quiet for me. Id go for the true duals if youre looking for some rumble..........the Thunderheader did it for me, I'm finally sassified.

I will tell you this. I had a 07 Nightrain with the Big Radius and the BCT baffles. My 09 SG with the V&H Big Shot Duals sounded identical, maybe slightly louder. So, if you like the sound of your bike now, get the V&H big shot duals

Two points.
Love my Monster Ovals.
Rinehart is currently out of business (no one is sure if this will be permenant but they are currently not producing product and if they find another partner there's no guarantee they'll be exactly as they were).

I have VH monster ovals and im quite happy with them. At about 500 miles they seem to be breaking in and changing their tone some. It sounds better everytime I ride it. And I bought them for $590 shipped from Eastern Performance Cycles. Couldnt beat the price!

Also very happy with the MO's on my 09. Deep rumble that you can feel and they look great, IMHO, with the wider fender and tire.
