Once this feature is enabled will it always engage at a stop, or is it temperature sensitive?

How do you enable it?

Some people have had some issues with it enabled and with a PC-V installed. The issues had to do with stalling when it was active at take off. But this was only with PC-V installed. I have it enabled and a PC-V but have never had an issue. But with the PC-V installed I don't think I've had it kick in as the motor runs cooler.

Had that happen some time back. Went to take off, and it stalled on me. I have the PC V.

My salesman enabled it for me when I took delivery. Been enabled ever since. As others have said I don't see any reason to ever disable it especially being here in south central Texas.

Interesting... Mine is enabled, and it kicks in even when it's cool out (55F-65F) if I'm riding in the city (stop & go).

But yeah, I leave mine enabled all the time.

Tech at dealership told me that once the feature is engaged it will kick-in at idle at a certain engine temp, or manually by twisting throttle in the wrong direction.

I don't know from first hand experience.

tech doesn't know what he's talking about (big surprise there).... you can only enable/disable the function. whether or not it kicks in is dependant upon cylinder head temp, not by twisting the throttle (that is how you enable it, btw)

on my 08 (built pre-Dec 07) I had to have it activated at the steeler. the function for turning it on and off with the throttle didn't work until I installed cruse control. I just took it in today to have the cruse activated, they reprogrammed the heat management at the same time so I can now turn it off and on. I also have had it stall at a red light. I have a PC-V. in las vegas I think it will kick in year round in traffic.
