Default Woods Cams or SE ?

When I bought my 07 street bob I had Se Airfilter,V+H Big Radius 2-2 and a Power Commander fitted(Which has since been changedt to SERT)
Was Dyno'd with max BHP@75.15
Max torque@116.67

Have heard a lot of woods cams...I don't want to go big bore just maybe some head work with cams.

What woods cams or ScreamingEagle cams work with that set up and what type of increase in power can you expect relative to cost ???

Thanks ..

I have the same question. Just had the SE airfilter and racetuner installed. Dyno numbers very similar, except your torque is higher. Thinking of the 204 or 211 SE cams before searching the forum and seeing the woods cam mentioned so favorably. Hmmm, decisions decisions.

If your having headwork done...ask your builder what he recommends with his work. Everyone has a preference. Seems you get more out of other builders than SE provides.........

I don't understand how it is that you can have 116 TQ. on a stock motor?????

I hate how some of these Dyno numbers can vary so much.

I was thinking the same thing! Something doesn't seem right with the tq being that high. After looking at your dyno sheet closer, why does it say softail standard? And why doesn't it show any reference of pipes, sert or air intake? I had pretty much the same set-up as you...sehb,sert & br 2-2 pipes and only came up with 78hp/93tq. I would suggest the woods over the se cams. A lot of guys are seeing better #'s with aftermarket cams compared to similar se cams.

Newton meters I believe is how his torque was measured.

get it right out of the horses mouth. Call Bob Woods and get his opinion. Comparing the SE cams and Woods isn't fair. Woods/Andrews/S&S/R&R etc are more on the same playing field than SE.

On his dyno sheet the torque is in Newtom meters but we are normally looking Foot pounds. 116 Newton meters = 85 Foot pounds. (To convert NM to Ft Lbs multiply the NM by 1.3558. 116x1.3558=85)

On the Dyno sheet it says standard softail because that is what the comparion was,,the red line, mine was the blue and when I had that done it was with a power commander which has since been changed for a SERT..THE PC WAS NOT LETTING THE ENGINE RUN CLEAN ON DECELL..WAS POPPING AND BACKFIRING ,THEY GOT IT DOWN SO IT WAS'NT DOING IT SO MUCH BUT WAS STILL TOO MUCH,THE SERT CURED THE PROB : )

So the torque is 85 then..'cos here in Sweden they measured in Nm ??
