Rightside+leftside rider's floorboard front brackets. One on the right is from my wife given to me by her on our wedding day. The other from my mom who gave to me for my first motocycle 25 years ago.they are both tied on with 50lb test firewire fishing line.

I drilled out a scrap piece of aluminum and mounted it on the lower bolt holding the engine guard on. But now SOOS has me worried cause I did use a key ring. Guess Ill check it in the morning.

The type of bells that we have in our pics are a very soft metal and the will wear through if left hanging on a key ring. Using a leather bootlace fixes this problem. There are other bells that are made from brass which will hold up better if placed on a key ring. I learned the hard way.

I've had the same set up as you on a number of bikes...to include a guardian bell on my up-armored Hummer in Baghdad...if it survived that...it will survive here at home!

The only thing that might effect it...is reactions from two metals and road salts coming up and interacting with those two metals. Besides that...I have the same set up on my road glide for over a year without issue.

Ride Safe, Mike

I like the idea of the bracket to mount it on. I have some black zip ties, but I think they're plastic instead of nylon. I know the nylon ones will last. Good ideas y'all.
