I guess I don't know what I am talking about having had 2 bells hanging from a key ring and both gone missing for no apparent reason other than the bell swinging and rubbing on the ring.

Mounted mine on the right side, front bracket of the floorboard. Used a black zip tie to mount a key ring attached to the bell to the bracket. If you look closely, you can see it on my sig.

Please don't mount it on your downtubes. May put a dent in your fender.

Hope the Bell scares away the demons in your path! Ride Safe!

Right side of the handlebar zip-tied right up next to the brake reservoir. Thought it would drive me nuts - Harley even notice it.

On the engine guard at the bottom hung with a piece of leather. Tie the leather to the bar another knot to let it hang before you tie on the bell, this will allow you to adjust the height so it won't drag on the curves.

I put my new one between the tubes, cause the last one I had under the floorboard I made a really hard turn and crushed it. I went back and found it flat as could be.

I had one given to me but I didn't put it on. Am I in trouble?

I know I should avoid hitting potholes but sometimes ***** happens.

Yep. Had this happen to me as well. Not good at all.

I also have an 09 Ultra. I mounted mine at the lowest part of the frame under the engine directly behind the front tire. I think thats the voltage regulator down there in the front. Its right under that. My guardian bell is on a key ring type holder and I threaded the key ring thru a pre-existing hole in the frame. Fits nicely there and i believe there a second hole that a second bell can be mounted next to the first one.

On my work bike i bought a large key ring and mounted that bell on the right side of the front wheel axle. I will rip it off the underside of my work bike because of the places i take it and how its ridden.
