I don't know what the deal is with hating the twin headlights. Raod Glide has them. And most all other Harleys have auxliary lights. They're also not something new which Harely hasn't put on a bike before. Now days when I cross path with other HOG bikers they know right away that I'm on a Hog.

The silver engine alone would cause me not to buy a bike even if I liked the styling. I wonder if they do market research on these things? I wonder what is the percentage for and against silver engines?

When the Sportster trade-in program planted the BT lust in my brain, I pretty much assumed I'd get the Street Bob, since it was the most closely related bike to my Nightster. However, once I was in the middle of the deal and took a good hard look at the bike, it just didn't seem worth it. Something about the rear fender didn't look right to me. It needs to hug the tire more. That said, even though I didn't like a lot about the Fat Bob when it first came it, it just seemed like a better deal. If I was making the same deal today, I'd go with the new Wide Glide without a second thought.

New to the Forum bought an 09' FXDB this year after looking at the regular Dyna Supers. Street Bob came looking already customized a bit. I still catch myself just going out to the garage and staring at it for no reason now and then. It’s just a great design and look. Wouldn’t say it’s a must have over a standard Dyna though. Overall, if you have the time money or just desire to customize your bike on your own a standard Dyna is a great pallet to start with.

They're all nice bikes. The Steet Bob is prefect for someone who likes that blacked out look. The Super Glide and Low Rider are almost identical. I never liked the silver engine on the pre 2010 Super Glides and the bars on the Low Rider are much better for me. Just don't like the bars on the SG. I like the tach on the Low Rider but I like the ingnition switch on the Super Glide. I think by going from a silver engine to black in 2010, and loweing the SG (I believe they did) they pretty much meshed the LR and SG together and made one bike. They were so similar they had to get rid of one of them. I'd bet the Low Rider will be back in a year or two with an all new look.

I've put some miles on a buddy's Street Bob. Very nice ride. But if I were in the market for a Dyna today, my choice would be a Super Glide.

When I purchased my street bob, I considered all in the dyna family and saw the most potential in the denim black street bob...I knew i wanted a bike to black out and it seemed to fit perfect.

I can't wait to see what they do to the Low Rider when it returns to the stable of Dyna's. The name is to good to let it sit on the shelf.
