+1 did not change the headlights -- I like the looks of the 10 vs 09 but not enough to trade. If you can get a good/great deal on the 09 do it

The '10 will have a cat, the '09 won't unless it's a Cali bike. If you're into the slammed look and don't mind a single-sided exhaust the '10 is a no brainer. If you like dual mufflers and are more touring oriented the '09 would be the better bike with its longer suspension, plusher seat and passenger floorboards. It's quite simple to convert the '09 fairing mount to the '10 position so you can use vented fairing lowers.
