take your hand off the front brake...your handlebars will not vibrate as much.

Use the rear break if it bothers you that much

Didn't read the entire thread but my 00 RKC Classic does this and I love it. In fact I let go of the handlebars at the light so I can watch them bouce.

Anyhow I have to add that when I first picked it up used in August of this year I did notice it and wasn't used to it. Since I was 300 miles from home I rode it to a friends house and had him pull out his tools so I could investigate. The bars have 2 3/4 bolts below them at the neck bearing that were slightly loose. 1 full turn and all was well. The still vibrated but it's just enough to make me smile.

When I sold my Softail and the wife and I took our first ride on the RKC, the first thing she said was "ooh, I like this, feels like a giant vibrator".....

Yeah, my wife calls mine the vibrating recliner, or her Milwaukee vibrator. I love mine though, and all her vibrating goodness!!

Funny thing. I've been riding the old bouncers so long that I don't even notice it anymore. I guess I did years ago, I just can't remember that far back now.

Mine shakes and bounces like a stripper at idle, but once I move out, it all smooths out. It's one of those Harley thangs!

my 09 Street Glide shakes the handlebars a good bit at idle, in fact it is hard to focus on anything in the mirror. Once you hit the throttle very smooth.

It's a Harley thing for sure.

But, you could try some poly bushings in the riser to reduce it as much as possible.

She needs to ride on the back of a shovel at about 3500 RPM !!! Funny thing, my RK shakes when it's idling, sooooo smooth under power. My shovel is sooo smooth at idle, vibrates the passenger to an audible moan every 30 miles or so under power, especially if you stretch third gear as far as it will go.
