I like all of the dynas also, I'm not a huge fan of the 09 and up street bob the fender does nothing for me, I just hate the look of a bobbed or chopped fender with a huge gap, I got my street bob mainly because of the black engine and a good deal
Personally, the Street Bob is what saved the DYNA.
Prior to the Street bob, DYNA's were the forgotten Big Twin. It was always "Softail,Softail,Softail".
My Superglide turned me into a DYNA fan over the years. I was initially a softtail guy who bought a superglide because I was given a screamin' deal.
I finally got it where I want it.
Street Bob is a heck of a deal for the $$$$.
The base Superglide is still the Step Child Big Twin H/D.
People still probably look at my bike and wonder why I bought "that one".
I think the wideglide prior to 2006 was the prettiest DYNA model ever. (Like the original bobtail fender, more of a curve.) There were none at the dealer when I bought mine, but i wouldn't have gotten it, because I was stressing over the price. Little did I know i would dump 7K into the Superglide over the next 4-5 years.
If I had a Street Bob, i would push the bars forward, Get a 14x14 windvest, swap the seat, and get forward controls, some S&S mufflers and just RIDE.

I went in to buy a Night Train because of the all black, but it wasn't comfortable. I sat on my Street bob and that was it, plus it had the paint job. As for other Dyna's I don't like the silver motor, to much chrome on the custom and LR. The SB had enough black and chrome to make me happy. All the names mean with Dyna's are really just paint schemes and how much chrome do you want and what color motor. Of course the WG and FB are just on their own!
