How much are you guys paying for insurance?

Hey All,
Thanks for all of your replies. I'm jealous of all these low rates. I just called Progressive and it was the same exact cost. The rep was really nice and said I should reduce medical from $25000 to $2500 and do away with the towing as I have AAA.
I'll call my insurance rep tomorrow to see if there's a better rate.

In Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada I get the pleasure of paying $2200.00 /year on my 2009 street glide. ( Thanks to our wonderful (lol) public insurance and bleeding heart government )
Before you guys start feeling too sorry for me don't forget that because of our climate being similar to Alaska's, my riding season is from mid to late April until mid to late October. So for the other six months I get to look at my bike and dream about the next riding season. Oh well another 5 years of this till early retirement then I'll come back for some relocation suggestions.

My cost for full coverage less medical coverage is about $300/year. The medical coverage will almost double the cost. Also, keep in mind that insurance cost will vary from state to state as rates are regulated by each state. Several other factors that influence the cost of insurance are: riders age, riders riding experience, riders driving record, type of bike, type of riding and yes, your "CREDIT SCORE". I don't believe the credit score has one damn thing to do with rating a matured rider but the companies do. Again, these factors can change from state to state. I had an insurance agency for 16 years and sold lots of motorcycle policies. I found that in most cases you got a better price on coverage if you insured with the same company that insured your autos and home. I also placed a lot of coverage with Progressive and Dairyland Insurance companies. They were about the only companies that would insure "croch rockets." Road bikes normally have lower rates. In general, carry the highest deductible you can afford, the highest liability you can afford and drop the medical if you have other medical coverage.

Ok, so very helpful input. I called my insurance carrier again today to see if I could save anything and turns out that medical at $25,000 was able to drop off, because I have primary health coverage. That saves me $390/year so I'm back to $600/year, which I can live with.
I also verified coverage with Aetna before taking it off, so I'm set.

I pay a bit over $500 a year from Geico, full coverage and $500 deductables for my 08 nightster. My first road bike and its only been 2 months soo far. Im 27 and have Geico for 2 of my cars as well.

State Farm in PA, $250 a year on a 2009 Fat Bob. Clear record, no accidents. 42 years old. $250,000 liability per person, $500,000 per accident, Deductible $250 for Comp(vandalism, theft, fire etc) collision Deductible $500.
PA auto insurance law has no medical coverage for injuries stemming from a motorcycle accident. Any injuries from a motorcycle accident have to go through your health insurance only. No health insurance? You got bills. Car insurance is different....injuires from car accidents in PA go first through auto insurance, then health insurance.
Wife works for State Farm. Sells tons of life insurance and hospital income policies to new bike owners.
