I've tried every glove setup out there. Ski gloves, heat packs, double gloves, battery operated heated glove... Nothing worked for me here in Michigan.
I bought a set of Gerbing heated gloves from a member here.
That's the way to go! Worth every penny!
I also add an ugly Plexifaring for the winter that extends out to the grips. Helps keep the wind off the hands.

I've been using bar muffs together with heated grips on all my bikes during winter for years. I don't like the feeling of thick winter gloves and this setup allows me to continue wearing summer gloves all winter long. They also keep my hands dry when it rains.

Here's a pic of them on my GS. I use the same ones on my Road King.

Use something similar on my Arctic Cat for riding in the snow and rain. Work great. Haven't considered trying them on my bike...hmmm

Or to find a curve in the road or a MT. view or a road without 80 year old cagers on it! If that's riding I'd sell my bike.

I just ordered me a set of Gerbring heated mits, they should be here this week, can't wait to try them out.
I thought about going with heated grips but decided to spend the money on something could use more then just on the bike!

For cheap heated grips get some heated windshield wipers and wrap them around the bars and put the grips over. A friend from Canada taught me this although it rarely gets cold enough here to need it.

Before i had the heated gloves I used a pair of WWII era polish winter gloves that were sheep fur lined. Kind of bulky but they would make my hands sweat in anything above 40 degrees

I have a set of Polar Hands from my Harley dealer: They pit the Ug in Ugly but they work: don't even need gloved with my heated grips when using these...
