Default My new 2010 SG, few questions.....

Is the frame on the 2010 new or the same as the 2009?

The salesman said the 2010 is already lowered, appears higher then my lowered 2002 RK, was he correct?

Any after market exhaust and programmer available if so who.

Thanks for the help!

I believe your 2010 frame is the same as my 2009 SG frame.

The SG has always come stock with the lower 12" shocks but even so my 02 RK did seem to feel lower when sitting on it. Some say the wider seat on the new frame is what makes it feel like it is sitting higher.

I believe Fuel Moto has options for 2010 for exhaust and programming.

The frame should be the same with 2009. The SG has 1" lower rear shocks (12" vs. 13") compared to other touring models.

Great info thanks alot.

Next stumper, I bought the module so all lights come on during breaking, well I'll be damed if I can find the plug. Harley dealer said its under my seat like on my old RK but I swear it's not there. I followed the wires from the rear and it plugs on the left side near the fuse box and the plugs look nothing like the ones on the kit I bought. Any ideas? Is my Harley dealer smoking crack? lol

Are you sure you've got the right part? Because I was under the impression that there wasn't a brake light kit for the 2010 SG but I certainly could be wrong.

Also RUSH, D&D Fatcats, Thunderheader, Jackpot, and HD SE have all released slip ons for the '10 SG and RG already. Also FM and of course SERT has programmers.

doc, if you've got a 2010 SG the only extra brake lite available is the tri bar lite on bottom of rear fender. that plugs in on the same plug as the running lite you replace under the rear fender. mine took all of 10 minutes to do...

zep, my fairing doesnt sqeek on my 10 SG but it did make a chirping sound similar to a worn exhaust rubber when i got it. it ended up being the rear fender where it mounts at the bottom, the factory puts a small rubber strip on the lower mount mine wasnt installed in the correct spot. put some 3M double sided sticky foam there to fix it..
