Anyone looking for a free 103 SE Big Bore ?
Just about to hit the sack(long day lookin after the little one) when I saw this. Mackie Harley Davidson in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, is giving customers who take delivery of any 2009 in STOCK touring or softail models a free 103 SE Big Bore kit that includes: cams, SE exhaust, and the SE Super Tuner. A $3,600 value they say...I guess they must be really hurting. Town of Oshawa has a endured a lot lately with all the G.M. layoffs and plant closures. Not a bad deal...

bet it aint free , what was the cost of the bike and pdi. last time i was in mackies the prices were higher than the base harley prices. was at davies on friday and prices seemed higher than base price there too. what do they want you to do try to jew them down so you think your getting a deal and still end up being higher than base price.

recall some prices
the base ultra with abs 1020 and I guess 500 pdi comes to 28489. both places where about 29500. thats a whole grand above normal pricing. I think harley has a 2 grand off some 09 stuff . so I bet they are still making and extra grand off bikes . clares by my house is still regular base sticker price at 26969 and some have the 2 grand off from harley on tags. toronto bike prices seem to be higher thann every where else. guess they dont figure I can drive for an hour to get a better deal.

I hear ya. I was at Clare's new store about a month ago, very nice store and staff. Yes, you are right prices were in line with the msrp. I bought my 08 Street Glide at Davies and they tried to nickel and dime me for everything. Even wanted to charge me storage for keeping the bike there when it arrived a week before Christmas, already a foot of snow on the ground. Go figure...I am sure there's always a gimmick somerwhere when they have these special incentives.

I have no idea who owns the busnesses in toronto, I dont care what race or ethnic religion they are. my post has nothing to do any of these things. it is simply a common used phase that means to talk a over priced item down when buying it. please dont try to put ethnic bashing into my post

Man, people are sure ''thin skinned'' let it go, live with it. Big deal. WHY should you be banned? THEY, are playing a race card, normal, within the past couple of months.
