Default Hidden ant power hook up

Hey guys, is anybody using a hidden ant? If so, what did you jump the hot wire from to power it? Off the radio? If so, which one is the best to use? I thouht about just tapping in the passing light feed. Your suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,

When I had mine I used the power wire for the fender light, since a RG didnt use this wire.

I used the power for the fender light on my Road Glide as well. About any ignition fed power source will work. The thing doesn't draw hardly any power. Ken

I have the power antenna thats available from biketronics. It was pre wired to fit on the cigarette lighter power supply. That's where I hooked it to. Works great.

Where inside the fairing is the best place to mount the ant? Does it really matter? thought about just sticking it to the top of the radio body?

Default hidden ant power hook up

The JM unit is the best, they also provide instructions on where to grab the power as well as the gound. any good unit will require this. they also lay out the proper placement of the ant.

I just installed the J&M Flexpower hidden antenna on my Road Glide. It is by far the best hidden antenna i have tried.....its a keeper. The power for it comes from the cigarette lighter and the instructions for mounting it was very specific as to how and where you put it. I know that may not help much but it does appear to matter where you mount it.

Cig Lighter for power. BTW I thought I was NOT happy with the reception of the inner fairing antenna-- Until I spent a hundred bucks and added an external at the rear of the bike. Guess what??????? for anything other than local that one sucks too. So if its not great after your done its probably not the antenna- going to get an FM power booster next or just keep playing CD's....
