Default Not sure what to do about Fatboy for leg room

I'm 6'1 and got some legs. I have a 07 Fatboy with highway bars and pegs and still im not relaxed.. I bought a Mustang seat to help with the rear end problem and now thats fixed
i'm stuck what to do? Should I just get rid of the fatboy all together? Should I get a Touring model? I've been told that sense I have the highway bars on it that it eleminates me from buying floorboard kit to move them forward 2' ? Any help would be greatly wanted.

Im 6'3" with 34" inseam and fit well on my Fatboy.

I never liked the Enging Guards they cramped my position on the floor boards. I use the Kurykyan MK IV Cruise arms and the HD Reach Floorboard kit for Touring Models. Kuryakyn also makes a kit now that moves the boards out 1 " and forward 1". The HD Kit moves them forward 1". Also look into getting a different brake pedal so that you can use the whole bosrd for your foot, Walters Workshop, EZ Brake or Bubbas Brakes make extended pedals. With my Cruise arms all the way out I cant reach them so you should have plenty of room.

I dont know about your Mustang seat but there are plenty of seats out there that will also move you back a couple of inches, I use a C & C fastback, back and down over an inch

I have owned a RK Custom and rented Street Glides and Road Glides and you will also feel cramped on them if you are cramped on the Fatboy unless you make the same type of changes

look into the harleygoodies floorboard ext, kit. they are a site sponser. the kit moves your boads out about an inch so your knees arent all jammed up against the tank. they arent expensive and its a very easy install. it made a world of differance on my deluxe.

I have the kit that moves the boards out a inch or 1 1'2 inch, that helped me get my kness off of the tank, are the Kurykyan MK IV Cruise arms adjustabe ? I have looked at a Street glide and test road it, didn't really any difference. I guess HD just mounts the floorboards in the same place?

Yes the Cruise Arms are adjustable forward and back about + 4 in Be sure to order the set for taller riders there are 2 available standard and longer reach.

I found mine on E Bay from Eastern performance for a lot less than retail

Streetglide isn't going to help you much it has a very low seat. Maybe look into a RoadKing they have similar Fatboy styling and they sit really high to me at 5'10"

I'm 6'2" and I don't find it to be that cramped. It could be better but it's not that bad at all.
