Flipped works great when your alone, not so good with a passenger tho as all you see is their knees (good excuse to ride alone).

+1, I like the flipped look too. I don't ride much with a passenger but when I do we should take the touring bike... o-yeah, we don't have one yet but we should!!! One day I'm getting a tourer to go with the Sporty.

Thumbs up inv. mirrors
Flipped mine, took a coupla wrenches and a few minutes...

Looks good, but still need to take it for a cruise when the rain stops to check visibility.

id flip the mirrors its so much better id never have them up top again

Im new at this so sorry if this is hard to understand. I have a 2004 1200c. I thought the mirrors on it were stock but looking around I guess they aren't. My mirrors are tear drop with split glass. The only reason I started to question them being aftermarket was becuase of the complaints from other riders not being able to see. I can pretty much see everything behind me in my small outside right mirror. Left one sorta but right one is great. Sorry No pics yet. If someone else has any idea of what the hell Im talking about that would be great.

I love the way the inverted mirrors look but cant do it cause my mirrors hit my tank..

Check my earlier post above, all u have to do is turn the bars and set clearance. Then tighten and adjust mirror. It is tight but it should clear. I als loosened the grip housing and rotated them towards the front to get more vertical adjustment from mirrors and that helped also.

Just grab the turn signal and push over, the mont swivels and u should be able to move it enough to be out of the way
