up to '95 should be a direct bolt-on. You can watch E-bay or swap meets. I picked up one thats a little tough and has been poorly patched once to repair my burn. If I find a nicer one reasonable in between I will scoop that up. I knew the guys would give ya info!!!!!!!

For numbers on fairings, saddlebags, side covers you have to get into the dealers parts book for "Painted Parts" as they are not listed in the regular "Parts Manual."

Measure up the stud spacing on your current fairing and compare them if you're going to try a later year.

I think the windshield attachment points changed after 85. The 86 and after have 5 bolts evenly spaced and yours has the 2nd and 4th bolts closer to the outside. Since the same bracket that creates the oddly spaced windshield bolts has the upper fairing connections I would worry the studs on the fairing might be in the wrong place.

I found a guy today that has a lot of parts (he said he has a 70ft building full!), he has an outer for my '87 that is very nice. I plan to got there in 2 wks to pick it up, it is about 4 hrs from me. He is more into shovels and I told him you need an outer, he is going to look. Yours should be the same as th later shovels if I understand right. If you could post some pics of mounting, windshield bolt spacing ect that would help.

Did you ever get the fairing for your 84 flhct? We have the complete touring pack from a 1984 here in our shop. We do custom paint and had a guy come in that wanted a custom look to his FLHTC and wanted to go without the touring kit. So wee did a custom paint and made some custom side covers. The bike came out really nice. He no longer needs the touring kit so he left it with us. If you still need it let me know.

Thanks

Do you still have the fairing available for the 84 FLHTC, I'm missing pieces that I would like to acquire.
