Well i walk miles and miles in my job n the Army, so i like to think i know a lil more about boots and finding comfortable one. I love mine, i have plenty of room. But to each his own, i would suggest justtrying some on. Also, i dunno if Harley does, but maybe look for some in a Wide size, alot of the army boots have that option.

I wear Danner boots since I have several pair from work. They hold up really well, but I don't always wear my boots while riding either.

My wife needed a pair of boots for when she rides with me and she chose HD's. They are the 10" high side zip with the willie g skull on the heel. She seems to like them.

I had some SIDI ONROAD SYMPATEX. Absolutely storm proof if you like spending about $350.00 Too heavy and hard to put on and take off though. Sold them on e-Bay and got most of my money back. I would recommend them if you do a lot of riding in cold, wet parts of the country, but they were overkill for Louisiana!

I have a pair of H-D dipstick boots cost about $100 (they were a gift).
I'd give them a 4 for comfort and quality, compared to other steel toed work boots.
I've had them for a few years but haven't worn them much. Still original laces and no real wear to the soles. The rubber soles came loose from both of them and I glued them back on. Also some of the stitching looks loose.
I'd rate them a 4 on comfort and quality, about equal to mid-grade department store boots.

I wear these boots as well. I took off most of the little chrome pieces. They where a little too flashy for my taste. I also got rid of the string. IMO they are alright for riding and uncomfortable as hell for walking, even for short distances. Plus, the toe won't fit under the shifter on my Fatboy Lo.
